Meet Donna Haile, RN. I have worked with Donna for many years, and when you need to know anything about a medical provider in Southern IL, she is your go-to resource!
  1. What you do for CompAlliance?  Medical case manager for workers’ compensation and I also coordinate Utilization Reviews for our clients in the Midwest.
  2. What do you like best about your job?  Meeting the Recovering Worker and physicians and working with co-workers.  This is a great company to work for as everyone is so helpful and will go out their way to help.
  3. What is your biggest challenge at this time, and how are you overcoming this challenge?  Not being able to physically attend appointments as I like being able to see and visit with my Recovering Workers and the physicians. 
  4. What is one of your hobbies?  Reading and traveling
  5. Are you also functioning as the principal at your home?  I like to think so but with 2 teenagers at home they think they are the boss
  6. What is one positive you are experiencing during this time?  Family time and not on the go so much
  7. Do you have an insight or favorite poem, quote or thought you’d like to share?  I am a great procrastinator and I always think of the phrase………”Today is the tomorrow you worried about yesterday”.
  8. Is there a show or series you have been binge watching? I enjoy any of the medical shows.  We have been watching a lot of movies on our Pay per view as we cannot go to the movies like we used to.
  9. Is there a wish you have for when we get back to normal? Or, Can you think of one positive that will come out of this event?  Being able to spend quality time with your immediate family as with 2 teenagers they are not home a lot and now that they have to I get to see them and really speak with them where before they were “on the go”.

  1. What you do for CompAlliance – I am a Field Nurse Case Manager for the Joplin and Springfield area in Mo.
  2. What do you like best about your job? – I love the flexibility of my schedule and interacting with a lot of different offices and people throughout my day. No day is ever the same, fortunately!  I also like overseeing a patient from the beginning of an injury, arranging the best physician for treatment and seeing them recover to the end of treatment.
  3. What is your biggest challenge at this time, and how are you overcoming this challenge? – My biggest challenge at this time is just staying home every single day!! I am used to being out of my home office typically Monday through Thursday! To overcome this on my lunch breaks, I have been going on daily walks and getting outside whenever I can.
  4. What is one of your hobbies? – Planting flowers/gardening.
  5. Are you also functioning as the principal at your home? Yes, 3 kids! 7, 9 and 17 yrs old.
  6. What is one positive you are experiencing during this time? – Spending more time with my husband and children.
  7. Do you have an insight or favorite poem, quote or thought you’d like to share? –  Don’t take life for granted because tomorrow is not promised to any of us-Kirby Puckett
  8. Is there a show or series you have been binge watching? –  I watched Tiger King to see what all the hype was, other than that I use my time to read, get outside or exercise!
  9. Is there a wish you have for when we get back to normal? Or, Can you think of one positive that will come out of this event? – I am hoping that traveling becomes the norm again! After being stuck at home this long, I am ready to get out and about! Picture – Missing my typical office setting, my SUV, as I have barely been driving anywhere!

  1. What you do for CompAlliance – Field Nurse Case Manager
  2. What do you like best about your job? – Flexibility and networking.
  3. What is your biggest challenge currently, and how are you overcoming this challenge? – Balancing with my littles at home, 4th and 1st grader. My husband is a Paramedic, so he is working more than ever right now. Establishing a routine is key! Meal prepping and planning. And TV dinners. LOL!
  4. What is one of your hobbies? – Fitness! I am an instructor at my gym. I teach a class called Cardio Grid. We have FREE online Zoom classes throughout the week during all of this with all our instructors. I do Tues and Thurs evening.
  5. Are you also functioning as the principal at your home? Yes! I do it all! Emails, agendas, keeping them focused can be a task, but making sure we go outside everyday is #1 Rule. I call it PE. And we have a 70 lb. almost 7-month-old puppy who is busy and energetic.
  6. What is one positive you are experiencing during this time? – I have gotten a few projects done that I wouldn’t have with soccer, softball, baseball, golf, work, and gym life. The kid’s bathroom all new hardware, patched up, and painted with new mirror. House stays clean ALL the time and less laundry.
  7. Do you have an insight or favorite poem, quote or thought you’d like to share? – “Be who you are and say what you feel, because those who mind don’t matter and those who matter don’t mind.” Bernard M.   8. Is there a show or series you have been binge watching? – I like ID Channel and real-life murder shows/mysteries. I’m not much of a binge watcher.
  9. Is there a wish you have for when we get back to normal? Or, can you think of one positive that will come out of this event? – People continue to support one another. I would love to go to Sam’s at anytime of the day and it is stocked!

  1. What you do for CompAlliance: I’m a Polish bilingual medical case manager in the Chicago area.
  2. What do you like best about your job?  I enjoy the autonomy and being part of a wonderful team. I also find great satisfaction when I am able to assist injured workers with obtaining appropriate treatments in preparation for return to work.
  3. What is your biggest challenge at this time, and how are you overcoming this challenge?  I find that it is very difficult to being able to perform my normal routines; I am a creature of habit. Instead of in-person communication, I find myself using various forms of remote communication to keep in touch with others.  I also using this time as a learning opportunity.
  4. What is one of your hobbies?  It’s difficult to choose just one, but one of my hobbies is yoga. Since I am unable to attend classes, my yoga practice has been limited to virtual sessions. Namaste.
  5. Are you also functioning as the principal at your home?  It’s more like a partnership, but we keep each other away from snacking too much.
  6. What is one positive you are experiencing during this time? I have been in closer touch with family and friends, since I have more time to do so.
  7. Do you have an insight or favorite poem, quote or thought you’d like to share?  “It’s not the load that breaks you down – it’s the way you carry it.” Lou Holtz
  8. Is there a show or series you have been binge watching? “The Crown” and “Outlander” on Netflix.
  9. Is there a wish you have for when we get back to normal? Or, Can you think of one positive that will come out of this event? Hopefully, people will appreciate each other more (and I will be able to get to the hair salon soon LOL).
