CompAlliance is honored to be speaking at the WCI2016 Center for Excellence on “Driving Value through Quality,” with panel members Denise Algire, director of managed care and disability for the Albertsons Company in Pleasanton, Calif.; Linda Van Dillen, Chief Communications Officer of CompAlliance Managed Care in Merriam, Kan.; and Kylanne Green, president and CEO of URAC in Washington, D.C.

Quality healthcare is an important component to injury recovery and return-to-work. The right care from the right provider at the right time has been shown to produce positive outcomes for both the employer and the injured worker. Businesses today are actively seeking ways to ensure its employees have access to proven medical providers and effective treatment programs. The journey begins with understanding the definition of quality care and its potential impact on operational performance. This session will introduce URAC and how the organization strives to achieve continuous improvement in the quality and efficiency of healthcare management. The panel will also explain the URAC accreditation process and what such an accreditation means to a case management program. Attendees will come away with a more sound understanding of what quality healthcare is and how to improve quality healthcare within their existing programs.
